Hello and welcome!
I’m Lisa, a Certified Adult Chair® Transformational Life Coach.
I’m so glad to see you here!
Thanks for taking a moment to stop by. I’d love to share a little more about myself…starting with a confession.
Not so long ago, I thought the idea of a “life coach” was pretty unnecessary…dare I say, even wasteful. Yes, it’s true. I didn’t need someone to teach me how to organize my calendar and work within a budget! After all, I was a former producer and project manager, so I knew my way around a planner and a spreadsheet.
Ok, sure, I had a little “light anxiety” and was triggered by rude freeway drivers and PTA mom drama—but who wasn’t? And yes, I also was a working mom of four boys, plus caretaker for a disabled husband who had 10 spinal surgeries after being hit by a drunk driver, but I could handle it all. I was strong, resilient, and organized, thank you very much. No life coach needed here!
Meanwhile, “life” continued to pile on.
Covid. Aging parents. Betrayals by family and so-called friends. A business associate/friend’s suicide. Another serious surgery for my husband. Could I really handle it all? My “light anxiety” expanded as the muscles in my neck and shoulders tightened. My shoulder froze altogether. The occasional ruminating thoughts staged a takeover in my mind, leading to full-time insomnia. Maybe I did need to talk to someone…
So, I hired a therapist. And went to exactly one session. I left thinking, “Now I feel worse,” so what else could I try??
I purchased sleep aids. I downloaded apps. I meditated. I did yoga. I read books. I revisited energy healing. Many of these methods were effective but the relief didn’t last.
Then, a friend told me about The Adult Chair®, a transformative program where you work with…you guessed it, a life coach! “Nope!” I answered, ever the skeptic. But she shared that this was a different kind of life coach…one who would help you feel your feelings and work through past traumas. I still resisted. What trauma did I have in my life??
Luckily,
I listened to that tiny, quiet voice inside my head who said, “Hey Lisa, just give it a chance.” And so I did. And when my life transformed—simply and beautifully—no one was more shocked than me.
Since I’ve taken the journey myself, I can confirm it is real, and that things can shift fast. These days, I wake up each day feeling more myself—calmer and happier. The tension is gone, and my whole body feels better. I still have challenging moments—I’m only human! But now I have the tools in hand to work through it. The thoughts no longer ruminate. Difficult conversations are spoken calmly. I feel better drawing boundaries without guilt or shame. Life is more beautiful.
So, I proudly announce that, yes, I am now a life coach myself—a Certified Adult Chair® Transformational Life Coach.
Life has its bumps in the road, but there’s no need to struggle. Let me help you rediscover yourself, know your worth, smooth the path, and shine your unique light out into the world.
Come work with me.
